There was a time in my life when I thought that a weight loss would solve of my problems. I would put my life on hold until I was ‘thin enough’. It took me a long time to realise that it was a lie which diet culture made me believe. That’s when my own healing journey began.

I'm Anna- disordered eating and body image psychologist

My story began when I was a teenager. After seeing pictures of models on magazine’s covers and, just like so many of us, I wanted to lose a few kilos to look like them. So I went on my first, very restrictive and low calorie diet. Little did I know, that would be the beginning of a 15-year struggle with my weight, food and confidence.

I thought I’d never be able to eat normally and accept my body

Fast forward to today, I recovered from bulimia, binge and emotional eating . I am finally at peace with food & my body. I became a psychologist and a nutritionist to better understand why and how we end up in this dieting nightmare and how to get out of it.

In my work, I use everything I have learned at Universities and I combine it with my first-hand experience of ED. My ultimate goal is to guide you through a life changing healing process providing you with the evidence based resources you might need along the way. Every Healing Journey is unique, no one size fits all solutions here.
